K Student Of The Week: David Moran
With our second to last student of the week for the decade, we were really looking for a special student in home and at school and we found one. Congratulations to David Moran on being picked for our Student of the Week! David is a 3rd grader at Dr. Walter Cunningham School of Excellence.
According to the person who nominated him, David has had to deal with a lot of hardships this year and is still a positive person, helpful in class and always smiling. But don't just take it from us, here is what the person who nominated said...
"David is an awesome kid! He's ALWAYS smiling and always looking to help anyone and everyone he can no matter what he's got going on. He has now had an almost perfect attendance and excelling grades far beyond what's expected of him despite dealing with being hit by a car and having to deal the divorce of his parents and only seeing his mom a few times a year. His teachers are always telling everyone about how helpful he is with the other students, and at home he's always helping me with his two 4 year old brother and his 6 year old sister. He also never ceases to amaze me by continuously bringing home multiple awards a year for test scores, going above and beyond in class, and always being helpful and respectful to the staff and his fellow students. All in all he's just an AWESOME kid, and I couldn't be any luckier then I already am to be able to call him my son!"
Congratulations on being an amazing kid, student, and son David!
