K92.3’s Student of the Week Spotlight: Mylaia E.
Spring is finally here! It's a time for everyone, including the amazing students in the Waterloo City School District, to get outside and enjoy the wonderful weather.
Each week we put a spotlight on one incredible student in our area. Our partners at the Screaming Eagle are helping us do that by giving them a free meal and skee ball at their restaurant. This week the lucky student is: Mylaia!
Mylaia is a fourth grader at Lincoln Elementary, and according to those closest to her, she is an incredibly hard worker. She's even made some major strides in all of her academics, especially in her math class. Not only is she a good student, but she's also a great person.
She is described as a kind and caring person who always treats her fellow students and her teachers with respect. Also, she is a great addition to the classroom since she is always willing to help anyone out. Here's just a bit more about this week's student of the week.
"We sometimes even call her our "mini teacher" because she is so great at being a leader and helping out in the classroom! "
