K Student Of The Week: Adysen Workman

I have a feeling our Student of the Week may grow up to be a tutor or teacher one day. Congratulations go out to Adysen Workman on being named Student of the Week! Adysen is a 3rd grader at Highland Elementary. She works extremely hard in and outside of the school but it's her big heart for helping others learn that caught our attention.

"Last year Adysen stepped up to the plate and read 13 books for kids in a over seas country. She Also is a self made in school and at home. She works with her younger brother who is 6 on words and math. At school she is a leader, she was in a school made video last year demonstrating leadership qualities."

I have to say, a girl who loves books as much as me is a girl after my own heart. She has a bright future in education and was so sweet, and a little embarrassed, when we presented her the award and we look forward to seeing the amazing woman she grows into!
