News broke early Friday morning that a winning ticket for one big lottery prize was purchased in Waterloo. Iowa Lottery officials confirmed that whoever did buy the ticket will be winning money for the rest of their life.
Someone who visited the Kwik Star located at 1636 W. Fourth St. in Waterloo has won a prize of $25,000 a year for life in Thursday’s drawing of the Lucky for Life® game.
This ticket matched up with the very first five numbers. However, it missed the Lucky Ball number and won the second highest prize...which again is $25,000 for life and that's nothing to cry about. This local Kwik Star will also receive a $500 bonus for selling this lucky ticket.
The winning numbers in the drawing were:
3-12-17-42-45 and Lucky Ball 6
