Waterloo Police Investigate Tragic Death of 27-Year-Old

A devastating story unfolded in Waterloo this weekend.

On Saturday, April 6th at 1:00 PM Waterloo Police officials received a call that a person was on the ground.

A Waterloo Patrol Officer was dispatched to Corky’s Auto on 435 West Parker to investigate.

This officer discovered a deceased male lying on the ground.

The news of this incident has rocked the Waterloo community to its core.

Many people are left wondering, what exactly happened to cause this tragic death.

What We Know So Far

On Monday morning, the deceased was identified as 27-year-old London Moore of Waterloo, according to an official press release.

After some digging, we discovered there was a London Moore who was 22 in 2019. The ages are seeming to match up in this instance.

According to reports, Moore was arrested for trafficking stolen weapons, carrying weapons and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. 

On Monday morning, the deceased was identified as 27-year-old London Moore of Waterloo.

The Waterloo Police department have not revealed any leads on what could’ve caused this young man’s untimely death.

Investigators are looking for the public’s help in figuring out what happened to Moore.
