Curtis Lane of Waterloo ended up being a big winner of a lottery prize.

Lane bought his ticket at  K & M Korner located at 1830 North Raymond Road in Dewar last week. He ended up winning $34,908.90 through a lottery game, and picked up his winnings at the Iowa lottery's Cedar Rapids office.

The game that he ended up winning big on is called MONOPOLY^™ Game Tokens Progressive. It is based off of the classic board game that would cause shouting matches and major rifts between families and friends alike.

This lottery game costs only $5 and the jackpot starts at $5,000 and goes up with every single ticket sold in the state.
