After a 15 month fund raising campaign, Retrieving Freedom is set to open their doors for their brand new training facility. You are invited to the Open House on Saturday, June 27, 2015.

In April 2014, K-98.5 helped Retrieving Freedom kick-off their new building fund raising campaign during the "Retrieving Wildcard" benefit concert. This weekend they will host their public viewing on that new facility, just 15 months after it all began.

Retrieving Freedom, Inc. is a non-profit corporation that trains service dogs for placement with Veterans, children with autism and adults and children with Diabetes.

RFI breeds and trains chosen dogs with the specific traits needed for the duties of service dogs in these markets. Specialized schedules are created for each dog throughout the twenty-four months needed to train a service dog to meet the standards that RFI sets for a successful placement. RFI’s service dogs are tailored to meet the precise needs of the person with whom they will be placed.

The open house will be held at the Retrieving Freedom facility located at 1148 230th Street in Waverly, IA. There are several things planned all day long for young and old.
