Motorcyclist Injured In Bremer County Accident

An accident involving a motorcycle and minivan injured a woman in Bremer County Wednesday afternoon (June 20, 2018).

Kristin Driscoll, 37, of New Hampton, was transported to a Waterloo hospital for treatment, the Iowa State Patrol said. Authorities didn't release any information on the extent of Driscoll's injuries or her condition.

According to a crash report, Driscoll was driving westbound on County Road C-33 (190th St.) when her motorcycle crossed the center line and collided with an oncoming Dodge caravan, driven by Chassidy Schweer, 30, of Waverly. Schweer escaped injury.

The accident happened around 4:45 PM near the Joplin Ave. intersection, about two-and-a-half miles west of U.S. Highway 63.

The mishap remains under investigation by the Iowa State Patrol. Bremer County sheriff's officials and Tripoli Fire/EMS personnel assisted at the scene.
