
Man Dies In Janesville Crash
A west-central Iowa man was killed in a single-vehicle accident in Bremer County Friday afternoon (June 29, 2018).
The Iowa State Patrol said Richard Martin, 72, of Earlham, was killed when his northbound pick-up left U.S. Highway 218 at the Janesville interchange. According to a crash report, the vehicle entered a ditch and rolled several times before coming to a rest.
Martin was taken to a Waverly hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The accident, which happened just before 2:15 PM, remains under investigation by the Iowa State Patrol.
