Search is on for Missing Boy

Authorities in Allamakee county are searching for a missing 9 year old boy.

Lance Kirk Palmer was last seen by a neighbor, walking to school on a gravel road near his residence on Moose Road in rural Waukon, shortly after 7am today (Monday).

Lance Palmer is described as 4 feet tall, blond hair and blue eyes, wearing a white t-shirt, blue-jeans and carrying a sweatshirt and book bag.

Anyone with information about the boy's whereabouts, is asked to contact local law enforcement.

Currently searching for the boy are the Allamakee County Sheriff, Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation, and Iowa State Patrol.
