Press Conference To Be Held To Addressing Waterloo’s Police Chief

A press conference is scheduled for today (09-19-16) to address concerns about the recent call for Waterloo's Police Chief to step down. Waterloo Police Chief Trelka was asked to step down after the city reached settlements in a series of cases involving the use of excessive force by local police officers

Mayor Quentin Hart and Chief Trelka will provide information regarding the chiefs status and future community policing. The Press conference is scheduled for 2:30 PM at the Waterloo City Hall, 715 Mulberry Street, in the basement.
