Will it be the Rams or the Patriots?

Another Super Bowl tradition is when the creators of EA's Madden video game does a simulation to predict the winner of the Super Bowl. With the game Sunday night between the Los Angeles Rams and the New England Patriots, the simulation had it a 3 point win. A 3 point win has happened only 4 times in 52 games.

The first time a 3 point victory happened was in 1971 when the Baltimore Colts defeated the Dallas Cowboys 16-13 in Super Bowl V.

It didn't happen again until 2002 when Patriots beat the Rams. So we've already seen a tight game between these 2 teams and that was Tom Brady's first Super Bowl win. It was Super Bowl XXXVI.

Even though the 2018 Super Bowl went into over time, it was a still a 6 point victory with a touchdown in overtime. The closest score in a Super Bowl was a 1 point victory for the New York Giants in Super Bowl XXV in 1991.
