Who am I too comment on the tattoos someone decides to get? It's your body, as long as you're not hurting others or yourself, I don't care what you do with it. I've got 4 tattoos and I'm sure plenty of people wouldn't love them all or think they're that great.

Now that, that is out of the way...what in the hell is this guy thinking? I'm not sure if this is just a bit, a joke, or if he's really this diehard of a fan but I hate/love when people get these kinds of tattoos. People ink themselves up with these types of tattoos every year. I'd be really curious to know how many of these actually work out for people.

We're not even 1 full month into 2024 and this is either the worst, or best, idea I've ever seen. I do have to give this guy a ton of credit though. This takes a lot of guts and could lead to a life of ridicule. If it works out, he's a genius and I'll be getting a tattoo like this very soon to help everyone who cheers for the Minnesota Vikings.

This Detroit Lions fan is either insane or smarter than the rest of us.

Alex Chepeska is (obviously) a Detroit Lions football fan. I'm not one to hate on sports teams because I cheer for all of the Minnesota sports teams. I was born in Minnesota and I know the pain and suffering that comes with cheering for those various teams. I've thankfully been able to witness a few Golden Gopher Hockey championships in my day but on a professional level, the last time a Minnesota team was in a Championship game...I was 10 months old. The Twins beat the Braves 4-3 to win the 1991 World Series. I'm sure it was exciting...

Alex has been so sure of the Detroit Lions football team this year, he got this tattoo back in August! If you're not a fan of the NFL, that's BEFORE THE SEASON STARTS! Again, if you aren't a fan of the NFL, the Detroit Lions are arguably one of the worst NFL teams in the history of football. They've never once played in a Superbowl and they hadn't won a playoff game in 32 years until this season. This is the first time the Detroit Lions have won 2 playoff games since Sputnik 1 was launched by the Soviet Union (1957).

According to KCRG, Alex said

I’ve never been so sure of anything in my life. I got this a week before the first preseason game. I knew they were doing it, it’s happening. There’s a few haters out there, but mostly everyone has been positive.  It’s our turn, it’s been the most exciting time I’ve ever had being a Lions fan. The longer it goes, the more people are getting on board.

This might be a bigger commitment than marriage these days. 50% of marriages end in divorce. According to MeDermis Laser Clinic, around 11% of Americans have considered removing or a tattoo or have already had a tattoo removed.

I don't want to spit in Alex's cheerios. Maybe this guy is a genius and has willed this Lions team to reach heights it hasn't seen in decades. I don't want to take that away from him. Would you be brave enough to do something like this? I sure as hell wouldn't.

The Lions will travel to San Francisco to take on the 49ers on Sunday (January 28) and the winner will play in Superbowl 58. If the Lions win, that's still not a guarantee this tattoo will come true because Detroit would still have to actually win the Superbowl.

In a little over 2 weeks, we'll find out if Alex is the smartest man in the universe or if he's sprinting back to his tattoo artist to try and change up his new ink.

Iowa's Most Popular Zillow Listing in 2023

Late last year, Zillow published a list of "The Most Popular Zillow Listing in Every State" for 2023. After scrolling through a bunch of gorgeous, expensive homes, I was surprised when I came across Iowa's most popular listing...
