"Just don't laugh at me if I mess up!"

The country superstar announced to the crowd how nervous he was to be back out performing, and even admitted that he "got a little drunk before coming out here."

Brown is psyched to be back on the road again, especially after this past year.

"People don't realize how bad it was for artists," he explained.

While the pandemic took a toll on many artists, Brown tried to take it in stride. He ended up releasing one of his biggest hits to date with Chris Young in November of 2020. As well as spread his wings and gave hosting a go with hosting the CMT's for the past two years. He has his first round of hosting during the height of the pandemic and was happy to return with an actual crowd this time.

Besides hosting award shows, he'd like to give acting a whirl. He's interested in being in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Brown says he'd like to play a character that hasn't been in the movies before.

And what's next for the country superstar? New music is on the horizon, but he couldn't give any specifics.

"I promise I won't tell anyone!" I joke with the country star.

While Brown couldn't give too many details he did say that he's working on releasing a single that will lead to a new album. It'll be a song that's meant to be a crossover track for pop and country radio. He did give us some exclusive intel though. Brown is actually filming the music video for the song this week.
