Eli Young Band Wrote 100 Songs For Their Next Record

It's been a few years since Eli Young Band last released any new music. After a brief hiatus, the country band is ready and eager to be back to making music again.

Eli Young Band has been back on the road for the past few months. The 'Love Ain't' musicians brought their Love Talking Tour through the Midwest. Even making a stop at the Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake on April 8th, 2022.

The sold-out show featured country star on the rise Corey Kent. Kent even shared some exciting career-changing news with the crowd. You can read more about that here!

There was a span of a few years where we only got radio silence from the country band, but now they are back and ready to start pumping out new music.

During a brief moment in between songs, they shared some details about their next project.

"We wrote a bunch of songs over 2020 and made a record," Mike Eli shared to the sold-out crowd at the Surf Ballroom.

This nine-song album called 'Love Talking' is expected to come out Friday, June 3rd. It will feature just a sliver of the songs that they wrote during the pandemic. The first single, 'Break Up In A Bar', dropped on March 11th of this year.

"We wrote about a hundred songs for that record. You should hear all of them by 2035!" Eli joked.
