Last year, Iowa had its very own and very first Comic Con. Iowa Comic Con, now called Des Moines Comic Con, began last year as a celebration of fandom and all things comic book related.

This year, the event is bringing in some big names in the pop culture world to our capital city. It will be taking place over the course of two days, June 3rd-June 4th, in the Hy-Vee Hall at the Iowa Events Center.

Event officials recently announced their guestlist which includes Iowa native David Yost. Yost was born in Council Bluffs and grew up to be one of the biggest names in the Power Rangers franchise.

Here is the full list of the guests that are scheduled to be a part of the convention. Con officials did confirm on their website that more guests may be added over the next few months.
