Dash-Cam Footage Shows Iowa Cop’s Close Call

An Iowa police officer narrowly escaped being injured by a falling tree during what was supposed to be a routine traffic stop.

Dash-cam footage shows Centerville officer Jeremy Veach talking to the driver of a vehicle he had just stopped when he heard something that didn't quite sound right. That’s when a oak tree suddenly fell across the car, just missing Veach.

The officer only suffered minor scrapes and bruising.
