Bremer County Fair Canceled For 2020
Sadly, another area county fair is calling off a 2020 edition. The Bremer County Fair announced on Facebook that they're not holding this years fair due to the COVID-19 pandemic that has forced many other festivals and fairs to cancel events in 2020.
In the Facebook post, Josh Peterson, the Bremer County Fair President stated,
The COVID-19 pandemic is ever-changing, and this is the decision we felt needed to be made, in consultation with Bremer County Emergency Management & Public Health, with the information and guidelines set forth today.
Originally scheduled to run from July 26 to August 1, the post announced the 2021 date(s) will be July 25-31. The Bremer County Ffair is located in Waverly.
