When Will The New Taco Bell in Waverly Open?
The Cedar Valley is getting a new fast-food favorite this year.

We shared the news with you last month that construction was being done on a new restaurant in Waverly. Here's what we know so far...
Back in March, a permit was filed with the Bremer County Building & Zoning department for construction on a new chain restaurant, reports confirm.
It turns out this permit is for a brand spanking new Taco Bell. This new location will be owned by Black River Bells, a group operating out of Brighton, Michigan, according to reports.
It will be located at the old Titan Machinery site at 2801 Fourth Street SW.
There are currently 54 Taco Bell locations in the Hawkeye State, but none of them are located in Bremer County. Waverly residents who craved some Doritos Locos Tacos had to make the drive to Waterloo or Cedar Falls for a pick me up.
Now, we recently received confirmation on just WHEN we will be getting this new Taco Bell. According to a report from the Waterloo/Cedar Falls Courier, the owners are aiming for a fall opening. Company officials are forecasting that the popular taco chain Waverly location will open in early October.
This Taco Bell will be a bit smaller than the ones in Waterloo and Cedar Falls. To get some perspective, reports confirm that this new spot's occupancy will be about 24 people. The Waterloo location's occupancy is set at 33 and Cedar Falls is 39.
We will keep you in the loop about the exact date once that is made public.
