Would You Survive in Iowa?

So, with my recent move to Iowa from Ohio, I have started to notice the differences between the two states and realizing I do not know exactly what I need to survive here. So, I asked my co-workers and other people for their opinions on what I would need for an Iowa survival kit. The list below is the start of my kit.

• Portable air compressor and battery charger
• Blanket in the car for possible car break down in cold weather
• Gas can
• Hand warmers
• Shovel
• Candles
• Napkins for sweet corn
• Food items: Tenderloin, taco pizza, puppy chow, cinnamon rolls with chili, peanut butter sandwiches with chili
• Ranch Dressing (YASSS!)
• Alcohol: Whiskey, Wine, Blackberry Brandy, Busch Light

What do you think of my Iowa survival kit so far? I have to say, I am not so sure how I feel about what you all put with your chili but I cannot say anything against it as we Ohioans put chili on top of spaghetti with cheese, so to each his own!

Let me know of what else I need in my survival kit her. Also, I have been informed that I am no longer allowed to be an Ohio State Buckeye fan but must support the Black Hawks and UNI Panthers. I’m on board, just don’t tell Ohio! Shhhh!
