Woman Arrested in Waterloo Stabbing

One person has been arrested after a stabbing in Waterloo last night (Monday, March 14).

Waterloo Police were initially called out just before 9pm to the 1,000 block of West 5th Street on the report of a stabbing. However, the incident reportedly happened on Allen Street.

One person, whose name was not released, was taken to Covenant Hospital with injuries not deemed to be life-threatening.

Following an investigation, 22 year old Jasmine Roosevelt was arrested on a charge of assault with intent to inflict serious injury. Roosevelt is being held in the Black Hawk County jail in Waterloo.
