The Fayette County Sheriff's Office is investigating a one-vehicle rollover involving a Waterloo driver.

At about 2:22am Sunday (Dec. 6), authorities received a 911 call reporting that a pickup had rolled over into a ditch on Highway 3, just past the roundabout, south of Arlington. The driver left the scene before deputies arrived.

An investigation determined that 25 year old Kelby Robbins of Waterloo was driving eastbound on Highway 3, when slick roads sent the vehicle out of control and into a ditch where it rolled over. Robbins was not injured. There was $1,500 damage to the 1997 Chevy pickup.

The Fayette County Sheriff was assisted by the Strawberry Point Ambulance and Fire Teams.
