Two Arlington Residents Arrested in Fayette County Drug Bust
The Fayette County Sheriff has captured two area residents, on drug and other charges.
At about 12:30am Sunday (March 21), a deputy found a woman in a vehicle located in the 500 block of High Street in Arlington. An investigation determined that the driver, 39 year old Steffeny Rose of Arlington, had outstanding arrest warrants from Buchanan County, for Burglary in the 3rd Degree, Theft in the 5th Degree, and a Probation Violation. Her bond was set at $2,800.
The investigation also turned up illegal narcotics in Rose's vehicle. She and her passenger, 23 year old Keith Ohlhauser of Arlington, were taken into custody.
Rose was given additional charges of Possession of Methamphetamine-1st Offense, Keeping Premises or Vehicle For Controlled Substance Abuse, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Ohlhauser is being charged with Possession of Methamphetamine-2nd Offense, Possession of Marijuana-2nd Offense, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Ohlhauser and Rose were held in the Fayette County jail until their first court appearance; Rose will be released at a later time to the Buchanan County Sheriff's Office on the arrest warrants.
