Traffic Stop in Oelwein Results in an Arrest

Oelwein Police report that they have arrested a local man after a routine traffic stop.

Shortly after 1:30pm Tuesday (Feb. 9), officers pulled over a vehicle in the 600 block of 1st Street SW.

Following an investigation into the traffic stop, the driver, 58 year old Gregg Latham of Oelwein, was taken into custody on a charge of Prohibited Acts, which is a Class "B" Felony.

No other details were released.
