The Fayette County Sheriff is releasing information regarding several recent incidents in the county.

On Sunday (March 21), authorities received information on garbage that was illegally being dumped in Otter Creek near Echo Valley Road. An investigation determined that 47 year old Corey Moser of West Union had dumped several bags of garbage, as well as paint cans and oil cans into the creek. Moser is being charged through the Fayette County Clerk of Court, with littering.

At about 3:30pm Sunday, deputies were called to "Inspiring Lives", to investigate a disturbance. The agency is a human services network that serves dependent adults with mental health struggles. Responding officers arrested 29 year old Alyssa Eisenbacher of Fayette on a valid warrant from Dubuque County. She was held in the Fayette County jail until her transfer to Dubuque County. More charges could be filed.
Late Saturday night, a Fayette County deputy stopped a UTV for a traffic violation. The driver, 55 year old Robert Franzen of Hawkeye, was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated-1st Offense.

The sheriff received a driving complaint Saturday evening, near the area of Highway 3 and "K" Avenue, east of Oelwein. The vehicle in question was stopped, and the driver, 22 year old Jonathan Deprey of Fayette was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated-1st Offense.

And on March 14th, just before 10am, authorities got a report of a gas drive-off at the "M&M" Convenience Store in Waucoma. Pictures of the offender were posted on social media, and thanks to the help from the public, the driver was identified as 22 year old Brandon Kimber of Cresco. Kimber is being charged with Theft in the 5th Degree.
