Waterloo Country Concert Event Cancelled

Get Your Country On was slated to bring in two Nashville recording artists to Waterloo. Monica Austin and Brad Morgan were the performers that were to take to the stage of the Electric Park Ballroom for the event.
Monica Austin
This show for Austin will be a bit of a homecoming for the singer-songwriter. Originally from the Quad Cities, this member of the Midwest Country Music Organization and has been named 2023's entertainer of the year.
She has opened for some of the biggest names in country music like Mitchell Tenpenny, Wynonna Judd, and Carly Pearce.
Brad Morgan
This Nashville based musician is also an Iowa native. He grew up on a farm near Manning and continues to celebrate his Hawkeye State roots.
He dropped his latest single ' Two of Us' on April 3rd, 2023. Now, this summer he's hitting the road and capitalizing on his success in the Midwest with private events and shows.
The concert was slated for Friday, June 16th at the historical Electric Park Ballroom. There is no word on why the event was cancelled, but more country music events are expected to take place in the Cedar Valley this summer.
Another FREE concert event is going on not too far from the National Cattle Congress. Downtown Cedar Falls is hosting a weekend of live music during the weekend of Sturgis Falls.
The River Place Plaza on the Veridian Stage will be the place to be with an exciting Welcome Home Party that will go ALL weekend long. Eagle View Hospitality (the team behind the Bar Winslow and the Black Hawk Hotel) are bringing in some great local acts to perform in Downtown Cedar Falls from June 23rd through June 24th.
