According to a report from Statista, approximately 70% of Americans plan to get a Christmas tree this year. Out of that group of surveyed individuals, 46% of people plan to get an artificial tree.

My family falls into this group for sure!

However, only 26% of people surveyed plan to get a real tree. This is about a quarter of all Americans.
