Police Arrest 2, Plus Ticket a 3rd in Oelwein Traffic Stops
Oelwein Police have arrested a local man, on drug and other charges during a routine traffic stop.
At about 7pm Sunday (April 18) officers stopped a vehicle in the 200 block of 1st Street NE in Oelwein, being driven by Mark Olson of Oelwein. After investigating further, Olson was arrested on charges of Driving While Barred, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Just before 7pm Saturday, Oelwein officers stopped a vehicle in the 200 block of 1st Street NE, being driven by 31 year old Skylar Buhr of Oelwein. Buhr was taken into custody for a Fayette County warrant, for the original charge of Contempt of Court.
Shortly after 1am Monday (today), a vehicle driven by 43 year old Ronald Dean of Oelwein was stopped in the 100 block of 3rd Avenue SE. Dean was given a citation for Driving While his License is Suspended.
