Oelwein Woman Arrested for Assault

A local woman has been taken into custody for an alleged assault.

At about noon Tuesday (April 27), Oelwein Police responded to an incident in the 10 block of 5th Avenue NE. After an investigation, 27 year old Kourtney Isaac of Oelwein was arrested for Domestic Abuse Assault.

Oelwein Police are also investigating a theft. The incident was reported at about 6:45am Tuesday, in the 300 block of 7th Avenue SW. No other information on the theft was available.
