Oelwein Police Cite Local Woman, and Look Into Theft

Local officials are looking into a theft in Oelwein.

The incident was reported at about 12:45pm Thursday (April 8), in the 10 block of 1st Avenue SE. No other details were released.

A young Oelwein woman has been cited following a driving violation. Just before Midnight Thursday, a vehicle driven by 19 year old Hannah Vanhyfte was pulled over in the 900 block of North Frederick. Vanhyft was given a citation for Driving While her License is Suspended.
