NE Iowa Teen Hurt, Pickup Totaled

The Fayette County Sheriff's Office is investigating an accident that put a Northeast Iowa teenager in the hospital.

It happened at about 3:30pm Wednesday, on 240th Street, northwest of West Union. A pickup driven by 16 year old Todd Mueller of Waucoma, went out of control, entered the ditch and struck the embankment.

The pickup was totaled; Mueller was taken to a local hospital, but a condition report was not available.

The Fayette County Sheriff was assisted by the Fayette Ambulance, Hawkeye First Responders, and West Union Fire Department.
