Monday Accident Takes Life of SW Wisconsin Man
A Southwest Wisconsin man has died in a two-vehicle accident Monday afternoon (May 24) at an intersection of U.S. Highway 151 in Lafayette County.
Authorities were called out just after 4pm Monday to the town of Kendall, Wisconsin, just south of the Iowa County Line.

A vehicle driven by 60 year old Howard Mutert of Platteville, pulled out into the path of a vehicle driven by 22 year old Grace Pawlowski of Waukesha, and the vehicles collided, sending Mutert's vehicle into the median.
Mutert was pronounced dead at the scene; his passenger, 37 year old William Simba, also of Platteville, was sent to an area hospital with serious injuries. Pawlowski was treated for minor injuries, then released.
The accident is still under investigation.
