Missing Boy Found

A Northeast Iowa boy, reported missing earlier today (Monday) has been found safe, and sound.

Authorities had issued a report that 9 year old Lance Kirk Palmer, who had been walking on a gravel road to his school in Waukon, was missing, and that emergency workers from several agencies were searching for him.

Shortly after noon today, officials have confirmed that Lance has been found safe. He apparently wandered to a nearby farm.

The Iowa DCI and Allamakee School district in Waukon have announced that Lance has been found, and the search has been called off.
