Local Police Deliver Summons for Theft and Drug Charges

Oelwein Police were called out on New Year's Day to deliver summonses to several local residents, on theft and drug charges.

Shortly after 5pm, officers were called to the 1300 block of South Frederick Avenue, to investigate a theft.
20 year old Dizney Willenborg of Oelwein, 21 year old Ashley Maness of Arlington, and 20 year old Marianna Hardnett of Colorado were summonsed for Theft 5th Degree and Trespassing.

Just after 10pm, Oelwein Officers responded to the 100 block of 2nd Avenue NW, where they summonsed to court 25 year old Riley Young of Oelwein and 33 year old Joel Young of Marengo.

Riley Young had been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance-Marijuana, Possession of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Joel Young had been charged with Possession of Marijuana, and Drug Paraphernalia.
