If you are an avid fan of live theater, you have probably been missing it and desperately craving it during this time of the pandemic. Or maybe you are just missing some sense of normalcy and are looking for something fun to do this summer while practicing social distancing. Whatever the case, here is an opportunity to get some sunshine and laughter this summer!

The Waterloo Community Playhouse/Black Hawk Children's Theatre and Rising Fire Theatre present "The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Revised)! Now before you start groaning at the name "Shakespeare" have an open mind and get ready to laugh. The show is by Adam Long, Daniel Singer and Jess Winfield and is a great way to get the family out and enjoy live theater.

The shows will be performed at the Cedar Valley Arboretum & Botanical Gardens July 23rd through the 26th and then at the Riverloop Amphitheatre July 31st through August 2nd. Reservations are required at the Arboretum as limited seating is available and registration is required at Riverloop for the same reason. As the performances are outside the company is still asking that audiences respectfully wear a mask and practice social distancing guidelines in order to enjoy the return of live theater!
