It seems no matter how many warning signs or flashing lights are installed, this railroad bridge at 5th & Brady/Harrison cannot resist feasting on unsuspecting trucks. Davenport will forever be known for this infamous feature that leaves truck drivers quaking in their boots.

Early Monday morning, on October 16th, a Semi Truck was going North on Brady Street when it was "eaten" by the Davenport bridge.

No injuries were reported, except for the top of the truck... and maybe the truck driver's pride.
