Iowa’s Favorite Sandwich Is…

We're a country that loves its sandwiches. Except one that is. There is one sandwich in particular we don't want any part of. A new survey asked Americans overall whether they like or dislike about two dozen different types of sandwiches.

The 10 sandwiches with the best ratio of likes to dislikes are:

• Grilled cheese
• Grilled chicken
• Turkey
• Roast beef
• Club
• BLT
• Ham
• Pulled pork
• Peanut butter and jelly
• And tuna.

But what about here in the state of Iowa? According to the website Zagat, for us it's the Loose-Meat Sandwich Which is simply a soft white hamburger bun stuffed with ground beef that's often seasoned with a dash of paprika, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper

There's only one sandwich where more people DISLIKE it than like it:  A cream cheese and cucumber sandwich.

The rest of the 10 sandwiches with the worst ratio of likes to dislikes are: Muffuletta, crab cake, lobster roll, cheese and tomato, Cuban, pastrami, Reuben, French dip, and egg salad.
