No. 10 Iowa explode for 46 second half points and defeat Northwestern on their own court, 76-50.  Iowa's 76 points are the most Northwestern has allowed since yielding 94 vs Iowa in Iowa City on Jan. 9.

The Iowa Hawkeyes Iowa (16-4, 5-2) had to grid out and earn its 30 first-half points, but only lead the Northwestern Wildcats (10-10, 3-4) by six at the break.  With the tough Wildcat defense, the Hawks took it to the paint, scoring 32 of its 76 under the hope.  The bench also helped with the charging scoring 32 points as well.

Gabriel Olaseni registered his third double-double of the season, and of his career, (14 points, 10 rebounds) in only 17-minutes of play.

Three Hawkeyes scored in double-figures.  Olaseni's 14 points tied his career high.  Roy Devyn Marble finished with 14 points and 10 rebounds.   Mike Gesell scored 11 points.
