In a message posted on Hawkeye's website, Dr. Todd Holcomb said that programs with more hands-on learning involvement will find alternative delivery methods with individualized instruction, competency-based training, and simulation as potential options. According to Holcomb, the college is considering making certain adjustments to the academic calendar as well, but has not made that move yet.

All college events have been postponed or cancelled for the remainder of the semester, including commencement due to COVID-19.

The spring semester is scheduled to end on Wednesday, May 13th, and the college has not made any decisions regarding the summer term and will continue to monitor the pandemic before deciding what to do next.
