2021 Class 5A Iowa High School Girls State Softball Tournament

Here are the 2021 Iowa High School Girls State Softball Tournament Class 5A pairings and results.

Class 5A quarterfinal games will be played on Tuesday, July 20. The winners advance to the state semifinals on Wednesday, July 21. The 5A championship game is scheduled for Friday, July 23 at 7:30 PM.

Consolation games to determine fifth- and sixth-place finishers are set to be played on Wednesday, July 21. The consolation championship is scheduled for Friday, July 23 at 6 PM.

The eight-team field has six qualifiers that competed for the Class 5A title last year, including defending state champion Cedar Rapids Kennedy and 2020 second-place finisher Fort Dodge. The other returnees are: Ankeny Centennial, Bettendorf, Pleasant Valley and Waukee.

Other teams hoping to win the 2021 Class 3A title are: Iowa City High and Southeast Polk.
