Community Events In And Around The Cedar Valley For October
October is shaping up to be an extremely busy month for K-Country. There's a little bit of something for everyone this month including fall dinners, local concerts, craft fairs, fundraisers for our Veterans and more! Here's the list we've compiled so far.
September 30th - October 1st - Grave Opening At Heart Of Darkness
The Heart of Darkness Haunted Complex on Osage Rd. in Waterloo officially opens its doors with a ticket special of only $10 per body. Open 7 PM till 12 Midnight. October 1st. - The World's Largest Garage Sale

October 1st - The 10th Annual "Pink Ribbon Run" in Cedar Falls
The Cedar Valley’s very own ‘Beyond Pink Team’ is celebrating TEN years of PINK! The 10th Annual Pink Ribbon Run is Saturday, October 1st at 8 AM in beautiful downtown Cedar Falls.The Beyond Pink TEAM is a program of the Cedar Valley Cancer Committee. For more details click HERE.

October 1 - Justin Adams LIVE in concert at UNI in Cedar Falls

The Janesville United Methodist Church will be serving up a turkey feast Sunday, October 2nd at the Riviera Roose Community Center from 11 AM to 1:30 PM. Get all the details HERE.
October 2nd - St. Francis Catholic Church Fall Dinner & Festival In Dunkerton

October 4th - Jr. Tojans At HuHot Mongolian Grill In Cedar Falls
The Jr. Tojans traveling softball team is joining forces with HuHot Mongolian Grill in Cedar Falls for a hot fundraiser! “Helping Hands” volunteers will be at the HuHot Mongolian Grill at College Square Mall from 5 PM to 8 PM. October 4th - Brett Eldredge LIVE in concert at Wartburg College in Waverly

The 6th Annual “Splash Of Color Walk”. The 3K walk/run will be held at Sullivan Park in Waterloo.The “Splash Of Color” breast cancer support group offers practical support to women of color in the community. Get more details HERE.
October 8th - Craft Sale For The Troops In Cedar Falls
A craft sale will be held at the AMVETS in Cedar Falls Saturday, October 8th. The sale will be held from 9 AM to 2 PM. Proceeds fro the sale will go to holiday SOS boxes for military troops who are currently serving. More details HERE.
October 8th - 6th Annual “Spooks, Spokes, Sneakers & Cycles” In Cedar Falls

4-person best shot Tournament on Monday, October 10th at Beaver Hills Country Club in Cedar Falls. Money raised will help homeless US Veterans in Black Hawk County. Cedar Valley Friends of the Family is hold its 3rd annual “A Night in…” fundraiser. The event will be held on Friday, October 28th at 6 PM at Prairie Links golf coarse in Waverly.
