Body Of Individual That Fell Into Shellsburg Pond Recovered

The body of a person who fell through a frozen pond has been recovered.

The Johnson County Dive Team recovered the body of 47-year-old Shannan Lee Hughes in a private pond in Shellsburg. Late last week, the Benton County Sheriff's Office received a report of a fisherman falling through the ice at a private pond just northeast of Shellsburg.
