IOWA STATE FAIR SAYS CASH IS KING:
On Thursday's BnB Show, we talked about the Iowa State Fair entertaining the possibility of moving to a ticket system for food/drink at the the fair.  According to the Des Moines Register, the state fair borad has decided against it.  The fan outcry was so loud, they actually listened.  Cash is King!  They've dropped the idea.

And then there were eight. The National Football League’s Division feature four games this weekend.  Seattle, Carolina, San Francisco, and New Orleans are still alive in the NFC. Denver, New England, Indianapolis, and San Diego still fight in the AFC.

Thursday morning (Jan. 9) Aldean announced that he will take Florida Georgia Line and Tyler Farr along on the Burn It Down Tour this spring and summer, stopping in nearly 50 cities and playing multiple baseball stadiums.

IOWA BEAT NORTHWESTERN, 93-67:
No. 20 Iowa thumped Northwestern Thursday night, 93-67. Aaron White lead the Hawkeyes' scoring attack with 18 points and 10 rebounds.  Iowa improves to 13-3 and 2-1 in Big Ten conference play.

BLACK HAWKS THIS WEEKEND:
Tyler Sheehy was awarded the Forward of the Week by the United States Hockey League.  The Black Hawks prepare for two games this weekend.  Friday night they will be on the road to Sioux Falls, and on Saturday night, they will be on home ice to play Des Moines.

BUCKY'S LATEST MOVIE OBSESSION : Jack Ryan (Video)
Bucky's latest movie movie obsession is the "Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit" movie (January 17th). He can't wait until next weekend.  This movie hits theaters in a little over a week, and this franchise reboot, which stars Chris Pine, Keira Knightley and Kevin Costner alongside director Kenneth Branagh, has just offered a number of stills along with the clip.

For those whose grilling skills are on the weak side there's now a voice-activated grill. Lynx Smart Grill automatically cook foods based on user commands. And it tells you when flip your meats. But the price tag is a hefty $7,000. This grill was introduced at the Consumer Electronic Show (CES).  Who is in?  We doubt many will be jump on board with a $7,000 price tag.
