Summer 2022 is expected to be the best season yet for country music fans. With Country Thunder and County Line lineups already announced, fans know that this will be a summer for the books.

Another exciting show that is set to come through to the Cedar Valley is taking place at the Buchanan County Fair.

Billy Currington is set to perform at the Buchanan County Fair in Independence this summer! Tickets are on sale now for the July 8th show. Gates will open at 6:30 PM that July evening for Currington's 8 PM show at the fairgrounds.

The fair is set to take place during the week of July 5th and will run through July 9th.

The 'Do I Make You Wanna' star is celebrating the release of some new music with his album Intuition. This is his seventh studio album and is a bit of a departure for the country star. According to Rolling Stone, the album," sees him tilting more toward the textures of Eighties synth-pop, dance music, and R&B."

You can purchase your tickets to Billy Currington's Independence show here. The K-Country Morning Show has your shot to win tickets to the show all this week. Make sure you're listening at around 7:35 AM every day during the week of January 24th.

Hilarious Iowa DOT Signs

Anyone else share a sense of humor with a state's Department of Transportation? Just me? Well, every Monday the Iowa Department of Transportation puts up a sometimes hilarious, sometimes straightforward message on their road signs across the state. This is called "message Monday" and Iowa DOT tries to entertain and educate drivers through these signs. Here are just a few of our favorites.
