One of the biggest names in country music will be performing pretty close to home this year.
It may be only February, but we're all already counting down to the summer. Of course, we're looking forward to the warmer weather, but most importantly we're eagerly awaiting summer concert season!
On Monday, country superstar Trace Adkins announced he would be hitting the road this year. His headlining Somewhere In America Tour will be kicking off this month in Pennsylvania. The three time Grammy nominee is set to wrap up this tour of the United States in the fall at Anderson Music Hall in Georgia.
Adkins will be bringing his show to Eastern Iowa this upcoming summer. The Buchanan County Fair excitedly announced that the Louisiana native will be heating things up in Independence.
You can get more information about tickets here through the Buchanan County Fair website. Officials announced in November of last year that the Roots & Boots Band would be performing at the fairgrounds on Thursday, July 6th.
The 'Honky Tonk Badonkadonk' singer will be performing at two other shows in Iowa this summer.
On July 1st, the Grand Ole Opry member will be jamming out at the ABATE Freedom Park in Algona. Then on Thursday, July 6th he is set to take the stage in Council Bluffs at Harrah's Stir Concert Cove.
