Arrests for Making a Threat at a Business, and Outstanding Warrant
An Oelwein man has been charged with making a threat at a local business, and a local woman was arrested after officers found her illegally parked in a handicap stall.
At about 5pm Monday (March 22), Oelwein Police were called to the One block of West Charles, on the report of a suspicious man making threats at a business. After collecting information on the incident, officers took 24 year old Seth Rohrick into custody on a charge of Threat of Terrorism, which is a felony.
In a separate incident, just before 8am Tuesday, 27 year old Rebeca McCorkle of Oelwein was given citations for Parking in a Handicap Parking Space, as well as Driving While her License is Suspended.
McCorkle was also taken into custody for Failure to Appear for Driving While her License is Suspended. McCorkle had been wanted on a Hardin County Sheriff's Warrant.
