An Arlington woman has been arrested, after she was pulled over in rural Fayette County on a driving violation.


According to the Fayette County Sheriff, at about 10:20am Wednesday (May 12), a deputy pulled over a car on Highway 56, near West Union. The officer was familiar with the driver, and stopped her to check her license.

An investigation determined that the driver, 39 year old Steffeny Rose of Arlington, was operating a motor vehicle While her License is Revoked in the State of Iowa for an OWI test failure.

Rose was taken into custody on a charge of Driving While her License is Revoked.

She was held in the Fayette County jail until her initial court appearance.
