Fayette County deputies arrested a Waucoma man Saturday night (Feb. 20) after he rolled his vehicle on a rural road.


Authorities were called out at about 8pm Saturday to an area near 260th Street and V-68, south of Waucoma, to investigate a rollover accident.

Responding officers determined that a car driven by 41 year old Clayton Snyder, went out of control, entered a ditch, and rolled onto it's top. No injuries were reported, however Snyder's 2004 Buick Rainier was totaled.

Snyder was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated-1st Offense and Failure to Maintain Control.

Also on Saturday night, the sheriff received a report of a disturbance at Bent's Smokehouse in Westgate.

The investigating deputies took 63 year old David Leyh of Westgate into custody for trespassing. Leyh was held in the Fayette County jail until his initial court appearance.
