Woman Injured In Waterloo Shooting

Waterloo police are investigating a weekend shooting that sent a woman to the hospital with serious injuries.

The incident happened Sunday at 114 Edwards Street, just before 5 AM.

According to police, officers found a 27-year-old female had been shot when they arrived at the scene.
The victim was transported to a Waterloo hospital.

Police reported Sunday that the woman was listed in serious but stable condition at the hospital.

Officials did not immediately identity the victim.
