Vintage and thrifting has become a big part of the average person's shopping habits. Approximately 16 to 18 percent of American shoppers shop at thrift stores and 12 to 15 percent shop at consignment or resale shops.

It's even become a big industry in Eastern Iowa.

Now there will be an Earth Day pop up that will include some exciting vintage and thrifted finds in the Cedar Valley.

This event took place last year to great success, so the minds behind it decided to come back again with some exciting vendors. It is called the Earth Day Market and the staff running will bring in some exciting and varied products along with some interesting vendors.

The Earth Day Market will take place on Saturday, April 22nd in Waterloo at Single Speed. This pop up will go on from 10am to 4pm.

Four established vendors will be at the event on Earth Day; Vice Iowa City, Kyle Custer from Iowa Vintage Collective, Expired Cotton, and the team from the Cedar Falls vintage shop Square One Vintage.

Square One Vintage opened up for business last year, and has become a big hit with the University of Northern Iowa student crowd. They are open Wednesday through Sunday and offer a variety of different vintage finds.

If you are looking for a one of a kind piece of merch to rep the Hawkeyes or UNI, look no further. Some of their most interesting pieces of inventory are unique college swag.

I've even picked up a few fun pieces there myself, and I always get compliments on them.

Square One Vintage is located at 100 East 2nd Street in Suite 105 in Downtown Cedar Falls. It's not too far from Urban Pie!
